Climate: Most grasslands in the world are very dry mostly like a deset but not all. So now you see why there is a alot of plants and animals are brownish to darkish color. Next you see why there is a little bit of grass there. Grasslands are so dry and humid that they get only (25 to 90cm) of rain a year. Then is they are very similair to a prairie but they get 100dm more a year. Last is that in the the summer and fall it gets to 90 and more degrees and in the winter it it gets as cold as -75 degrees.

Seasons: Yes, this biome has seasons they have all four actually, but spring and fall are shorter because summer and winter take up alot of time. Next, is that it is hard to tell what if it is spring or summer because they both make the flowers bloom and the grass is green.Last, is that before you go to a grassland find out the season because in the summer or spring it can get very hot.
Animal: There are over 80 differnt types of species of in grasslands. Infact there are 300 types of birds that make burrows in the groud in grasslands because there isn't much trees near. Last, is the most fastest animal lives in the grasslands like the cheetah. The cheetah is an amazing animal. When it runs it can run between 112 to 120mph. Then is that it doesnt have ant defense except for its speed and for its cubs. the cheetahs main adaptation is its speed and its hunting skills. Five animals that live in grasslands are Cheetahs, Bison, Praire Dogs, Lion, and my favorite the Hyena.They are the most hilarious animals ever!

Locaition: Most Grasslands are found more below the equator. Then is that the smallest grassland is in iceland because Iceland is made of grass and Grassland is made of Iceland. Next is that the largert is the grassland that goes all the way across Asia to Europe. Last is that there are more drie grasslands in South America, Africa and between Europe and Africa. Infact most grasslands are evenly above and below the equator.

Next, is that some flowers in the grasslands only grow up to 2 to 4 inches tall.Last, is that the rarest flowers seen in the grassland is the Wind poppy. 4 other plants located in grasslands are sunflowers, oak grass, cone flowers and switch grass.
